STUDIO FAQ

Immortelle Skincare is located at 20 Roblocke Avenue, Toronto, ON, M6G 3R7. Please note that upon entering there is a flight of stairs leading up to the studio.
There is 2 hour parking available along Leeds St just north of Roblocke and a Green P parking lot across the street from Ossington Subway Station, which is a 5 minute walk from the studio.
As this is a private studio without a waiting room, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start time of your appointment.

Appointments are exclusively booked online via the Book Now link in the navigation or Holistic Botanical Facials page. Should you have questions or require assistance with booking please email hello@immortellskincare.ca.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. I kindly ask that you reschedule or cancel your appointment 48 hours or more in advance.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service.
Clients who fail to show up without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

You are welcome to access your account via the online booking system and make any changes to your booking, including rescheduling or cancelling your appointment. Please email hello@immortellskincare.ca if you require any assistance.

We've all been there, but if you see you are going to be late to your booking please notify me as soon as possible, either by text or email (found in your appointment confirmation email). Please note that arriving to your appointment late will result in a shortened treatment since a set amount of time is allotted for your visit. Please account for transit time and plan for possible delays due to weather and traffic.
FACIAL FAQ

Come to your treatment with bare skin and wear glasses instead of contact lenses if possible.
Expect some oil to be left in your hair as many of the techniques used end at the scalp.
Avoid face waxing, exfoliation, retinols, peels or other activating products 2-3 days prior to your appointment.
Limit sun exposure before your treatment in order to help prevent skin sensitivity.
Keep hydrated in the hours leading up to your appointment.
Communicate with your esthetician specific skin concerns.

Take it easy. You will feel incredibly grounded and relaxed.
Continue to stay hydrated with plenty of water and electrolytes to flush out remaining toxins.
Avoid makeup for the majority of the day (we want the skin to breathe).
If your appointment is in the evening, it is okay to sleep in the product.
If receiving a scalp and hair mask, it should be rinsed out by the end of day.

Initially, every 2-4 weeks is a beautiful time frame to really see results and help aid in pain management. We are training the muscles in the face to relax and re-educating your facial posture to 'remember' where it likes to live.
As we all hold tension differently, each person’s timeline is individual. When changes have accrued, monthly sessions (or every 4-6 weeks) maintain best results.

Muscles in the face may feel tender. Skin may be flushed as well, but this is not a concern. We are increasing blood circulation and oxygen in the skin.

Extractions will be performed at the discretion of your esthetician and only if the skin is ready to release. Rest assured, even without extractions inflammatory conditions such as acne and general congestion of the skin will be addressed holistically.
